I am a stay home wife and mother so Venus Quilting is an in-home
business. I do about 2-4 quilts a week and still have plenty of time
to care for my family. We tell customers the turn around time is 6-8
weeks but very rarely is it over 4 weeks. Our customers are more
then just customers. Many times we have went to homes to pick up and
deliver quilts. We have made many friends with the hopes to make
more.
We provide longarm custom quilting, custom quilt design, t-shirt
quilts and custom quilt products throughout Eastern Iowa (serving
areas of Bettendorf, Cedar Falls, Cedar
Rapids, Davenport, Dubuque, Iowa City, Marion, and Waterloo). With
the new cheaper flat rate USPS shipping boxes we also have customers
mail quilt tops to us, after they are complete we mail them back.
We
will come into your home and go fabric shopping with you to design
and make a truly custom quilt to fit your needs. But our main
business is longarm quilting. Our machine is a 20” APQS on a 12 foot
table.
The key to a great quilt is to have fun. Sometimes the simple quilts
look better then the most detailed but quality Longarm Quilting is a
key to finish any quilt.
